Syne is built from the ground up to be collaborative. All changes you make to a project are instantly synchronized with your collaborators. If you’ve used Google Docs, you know what to expect. No matter how far apart you are, hopping in the studio with someone is as easy as logging in.

We aim to compete with mainstream DAWs used by professional musicians. Features we plan to support include full MIDI and audio I/O, advanced automation, VST3, and many more.

Syne is being developed as a mobile-first, progressive web application. By leveraging new capabilities in modern browsers, we are building a DAW that just works, no matter where. You could be recording in your bedroom on your laptop, and continue processing and arranging your clips from your phone on the subway. Your media library, projects, and plugins will all be accessible anywhere you login. Future support for offline use will mean you can even use syne.studio on a plane, and synchronize changes from your collaborators once you land.
